FAQs

1. Is mouth tape suitable for everyone?

No. A mouth tape design does not establish whether it is appropriate for an individual. If you have difficulty breathing through your nose, a known or suspected sleep-related breathing condition, or other health concerns, seek advice from a qualified clinician before considering use.

2. Can the adhesive irritate skin?

Skin response varies. Check the product materials and avoid use on irritated or broken skin. Stop using the tape if redness, discomfort or another reaction occurs, and contact a clinician if symptoms persist.

3. What is the difference between SouZou designs?

SouZou designs vary by shape, coverage, opening and appearance. Review the product images and details for the specific design; an opening or style label does not establish medical suitability or breathing safety.

4. Will it work with facial hair?

Adhesion can vary with facial hair, skin and the chosen shape. We cannot guarantee a secure fit or comfortable removal for every person. Check the product details and stop using it if removal irritates your skin.

5. Can a strip be reused?

Check the instructions for the specific product. Do not reuse a strip marked for single use; replace it with a fresh strip as directed.

6. Is mouth tape a treatment for snoring or sleep apnea?

No. SouZou mouth tape is not a treatment for snoring, sleep apnea or another medical condition. Persistent snoring, gasping during sleep or daytime sleepiness can warrant medical assessment.

7. Does mouth tape improve dental or oral health?

We do not claim that mouth tape prevents cavities, treats dry mouth or improves oral health. If you have ongoing dry mouth or dental concerns, ask a dental or medical professional about the cause.

8. How do I choose a design?

Compare shape, coverage, opening, materials and pack options on the Shop page. Choose based on the product details and your preferences rather than a promised health outcome. For children, read what parents should know before considering any design.

9. What if breathing feels restricted or I feel unwell?

Remove the tape. Do not continue using it when breathing feels restricted. Seek medical advice for recurring concerns, and seek urgent care for severe breathing difficulty or other urgent symptoms.
